Warrant of arrest has been issued for two suspects including Fil-Am national, killing of a 23-year-old woman.
Yesterday, Judge Consuelo Amog-Bocar issued arrest warrant to Jonathan Dewayne Ciocon Viane and Nino Dela Cruz, the two suspect of killing a 23-year-old Karieces “Aika” Mojica, Subic, Zambales, Saturday. Suspect includes a Fil-Am national who reportedly fled the country.
Karieces “Aika” Mojica was found dead near Sto. Tomas River in San Narciso town, choked, shot thrice in the head, and burned. She attended birthday party of Claire, 17-year-old, her bestfriend, Viane’s former wife. Later on, Mojica reported missing, Saturday, as she wasn’t able to come home.
In the testimony of Claire, she was with the victim the night of July 24 and later accompanied her to a gasoline station near the local high school here to meet Viane, who told her he wanted to meet the victim to talk about the rumor he heard she has been telling things to Viane’s wife, who was in the Unites States, she told police.
Jonathan Dewayne Ciocon Viane, Fil-Am national, from Subic, Zambales, one of the main suspect upon killing Mojica. Viane run away after he committed the said crime. Viane’s flight came less than 24 hours after the murder.
Based on the immigration records, the alleged suspect, Jonathan Dewayne Ciocon Viane, Fil-Am national, boarded an Eva Air flight bound for the United States via Taipei, Sunday morning. Mayor Rolen Paulino together with Inspector Rolando Ballon asked Bureau of Immigration, Olongapo City to issue a hold departure order to the suspect.
Authorities believed Niño dela Cruz been hiding. As of now a manhunt was conducted to find dela Cruz, offered a P50,000 reward for his arrest. IMAGE/manila.coconuts.co
