Musician couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale to divorce– Hollywood couple has come to an end after 13 years of marriage.
Musician Couple got married in 2002, after 6 years of being together as lovers. The couple was said to have no prenup, so the assets will be split evenly.
Monday, Gwen Stefani,45, filed her petition against his husband and Gavin Rossdale,49, filed his response shortly after Gwen, Los Angeles Superior Court spokeswoman Mary Hearn said. The Musician couple have three sons: Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 1.
They cited irreconcilable differences for the split, and looking for joint custody of their three sons. Gwen Stefani said the date of their separation was still to be determined, but she asked the court to terminate Rossdale’s ability to get spousal support.
On the response of Gwen Stefani’s file for divorce, Gavin Rossdale checked a different box on his paperwork indicating he wanted to reserve any decision on the issue of spousal support.
“While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment,” the musician couple said in a statement, “To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time.”
According to statement of Gavin Rossdale last September, “It’s amazing. It’s amazing…She’s an incredible mom and it’s a really good setup. It’s a challenge to give everything the time it deserves but somehow I think we more or less make it.”
