Afghan capital explosion killed and injured people– An explosion has killed at least ten people and injured dozens of others ,when a car rigged with explosives went off on Thursday in the Afghan capital after revelations of Taliban leader Mullah Omar’s death.
After explosion the affected area was immediately surrounded off by police, ambulances into rush bringing injured to a nearby hospital. Those injured have included 15 children and 20 women,most of the injuries were caused by flying shards of glass. Dr. Fida Mohammad in the emergency unit of Ibnisina Hospital said.
The explosion killed many people, several houses in the area were damaged, roofs of numerous houses were reported to have collapsed and there were fears that people may have been buried inside their homes. No group or individual has claimed responsible for the deadly attack, and bombing whose target was not immediately clear,but Taliban militants have been blamed for such attacks in the past.

According to Kabul police chief General Abdul Rahman Rahimi, “A car packed with explosives was detonated in the crowded residential neighborhood of Several houses in the area were damaged. Shah Shaheed in east Kabul,” he added, “The killed and wounded include women and children. The attack was intended to cause mass murder.”
Last week,Peace talks between the Afghan government and Taliban militants were effectively halted when the death of the militant group’s leader, Mullah Omar, was confirmed and Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansour was appointed as his successor. Future peace talks under the group’s new leadership remains difficult to predict, Afghan capital explosion is believed to further complicate the prospect of keeping peace talks alive.IMAGE/matiastanea.gr
