A carbonated soft drink that is produced and manufactured by PepsiCo. The company aims to give soda lover a healthy drink together with their hope that through removing aspartame will boost their sales by introducing aspartame-free diet sodas.
The new PEPSI Products without Aspartame sodas will look like the old packaging, however include the message “Now Aspartame Free”. The company has started to ship reformulated Diet Pepsi, making their way through the distribution in recent weeks.
In statement of Seth Kaufman, a senior vice president at PepsiCo , “Diet cola drinkers in the U.S. told us they wanted aspartame-free Diet Pepsi and we’re delivering.”,“The mouthfeel had to be in line with what consumers expect when they get that silver can.”, “We obviously wanted to do it in the context of a phenomenal-tasting Diet Pepsi that our consumers will know and love because it’s very similar to the Diet Pepsi they’ve been drinking.”
Many complaints arose of aspartame used as sweetener of many soda drinks. It was found out that artificial sweetener in thousands of products can be harmful to people’s health. Aspartame is a non-saccharide sweetener used as a sugar substitute in some foods and beverages.
PEPSI Products Without Aspartame, instead of using it in their soda products, the Pepsi company used a blend of sucralose, a non-nutritive sweetener majority of ingested and is noncaloric.
It is found in many food and beverage products used, for the reason that it is a no-calorie sweetener and does not promote dental cavities. Found safe for consumption by diabetics as nondiabetics.
PepsiCo is created in the year 1893, introduced as Brad’s Drink. After digestive enzyme pepsin and kola nuts used in the recipe, it was renamed Pepsi Cola in 1898. It’s original trademark Pepsi-Cola filed on 23 September 1902, with a description of flavoring-syrup for soda water.

The company been into many changes to cater the needs of the people. They announced a vending machine, where customers able to buy their soda, 2011. A Pepsi Next with half calories in 2012, reshaped its 20-ounce bottle in 2013, and launched new product the Pepsi Next containing less percentage of sugar added, Stevia as a zero calorie sweetener, 2012.
In the year 2013 up to present, the company’s Global campaign, “Embrace your past, but live for now” featuring Beyonce. Aside from focusing on its development, Pepsi also has official sponsorship deals into some major North American professional sports leagues.
