Former US President battled cancer, still having regular Sunday school teaching at his home church.
Jimmy Carter, 90 year-old American politician and author is fighting cancer. He is the 39th President of the United States, with great contributions and been a good leader. Loving his hometown, he keeps a regular Sunday school teaching at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Georgia.
Despite his medical condition, he still continue serving the Lord as well his home church. Being a church deacon, for decades Former President Jimmy Carter been teaching in the church. He revealed that his cancer spread throughout his brain, Thursday.
Former President Jimmy Carter stated at the crowd in Maranatha Baptist Church, “Any time, we can just bow our heads and say, ‘God, I’m really troubled. I ask you to give me the strength to bear whatever is on my shoulders and to bear whatever comes to me,’” “Just being able to admit you might be mistaken and that the other person might be right” will improve a relationship.
He underwent elective surgery to remove small mass on his liver, 3 August 2015. Carter then announced
he had been diagnosed with cancer that had spread elsewhere in his body, August 12. He wished to be buried in front of his home in Plains, Georgia. The Former President came from a family with history of cancer, including both of his parents and all three of his siblings. In 2006, he noted that a funeral in Washington, D.C. with visitation at the Carter Center, planned as well.
