SAMSUNG— Galaxy Note 3 premiered Wednesday during IFA consumer electronics fair in Berlin and its Smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Gear expected release in October.
The Galaxy Gear extends the Galaxy Note 3 experience to your wrist and enhances everyday moments with real time updates for quick and convenient access.
The Samsung reps at a New York media event weren’t saying when, or even if, Galaxy Gear might work with other Samsung smartphones or tablets, but I’m betting it will, lest Samsung severely limit its market.
The device’s glamorous launch, JK Shin, president of Samsung’s IT and Mobile Division, said that the “Samsung Galaxy Gear benefits consumers by integrating smart device technology even deeper into their everyday lives.
It bridges the gap between the mobile device and fashion worlds to create truly wearable technology.” But does it really deliver on its promise? CNN reported.
According to Cnet Specs information, Note 3 sports a 5.7-inch screen — a slight increase over that of the Note 2. However, the device is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, measuring just 8.3mm and weighing in at 168g. The device is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 3,200mAh battery.
