Taiwan, September 19, 2013 — The normal busy pace of earning a living has been replaced with a cheerful atmosphere as the Taiwanese celebrated the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival. ( Like the love around Taiwan drama)
The four-day holiday rested some of the many workers who went to their respective homes to get together with their families and relatives. During the night, streets were flooded with groups of families summoned in front of their houses and feasting with the long customary barbecue party. As for onlookers and riders, apart from smelling the delectable smoke of grilled meat, one could also sense the smell of happiness and reunion.
Others who had to report to work did not lose track of the celebration for employees, who were rallied in front of company buildings and establishments while circling on the tasty, smoking barbecue, enjoying the full moonlight.
Romantically, couples and lovers enjoyed a stroll in the park or under the bridge and brought along their video cameras while recording the peculiarly beautiful moonlight accompanied with the dancing fireworks in midair. Good buddies and friends also did exchange the most well-known delicacy during this day, the mooncake.
And as for children, playing with sparklers together with the rest of the children in the family filled the celebration with joyous laughter.
Finally, just another simple occasion for every Taiwanese family, yet will frame a picture of the family history.
