Typhoon Wutip is expected to hit Vietnam’s central coast Monday morning, while China has issued a yellow wave warning for the South China Sea as the storm is expected to affect Hainan’s southern coast, according to reports.
Vietnam is under threat for damaging winds, flooding rainfall, and mudslides from Hue to Hanoi.
Hainan could experience flooding rainfall for much of the island, and damaging winds along the south and southeastern coast.
In Thailand, the storm is expected to bring more rain, isolated heavy rain, and gusts to the upper Northeast and the eastern part of the North of the country beginning Monday afternoon. Thirty provinces in Thailand are already flooded.
