After Typhoon Wutip makes landfall over Vietnam on Monday, it is expected to weaken to a tropical depression and bring heavy rainfall to the entire upper half of Thailand, according to reports.
Forecasts are calling for heavy rains to hit northeast Thailand Monday afternoon, and are likely to spread to most of the central plains region.
The Bangkok forecast calls for a 70% chance of rain Monday.
