Family fun vacation kids travel activities in Taiwan: “The Yellow Duck Is In Town!”
October 5, 2013 (12:00noon) – As the school bell rang signaling the end of all classes and marking a break for the week, the class was set in a great fuss! Reluctantly, a student of mine approached and asked me; “Did you hear it, Teacher? Google Trekker is in Kaoshiung City for the Yellow Duck.” I shut in silence for I was not updated on the info, though we discussed previously about Google Trekker in CNN Class.
Gigantic as the news, the well-known “The Yellow Duck” docked on the Glory Pier of Kaoshiung City, Taiwan last September 19, 2013 with thousands of people waiting for it. Luckily, for those who were not able to see it, the towering masterpiece shall stay for spectators’ sights up until October 20, 2013. Therefore, for everybody out there who would wish to see it for yourself, you can still have the chance to reschedule your plans and be part of the crowd on this entertainment.
F.Y.I. (For Your Information)
The “Rubber Duck” is one of the many designs of Florentijn Hofman, a Dutch artist who aims to entertain the world through his joyous creatures. And this event is part of the tour named “Spreading joy around the world” which was established in 2007. (Thanks to Nathan for the update!)
