Iskandar, Malaysia — The world’s largest and Asia’s first Legoland Water Park opened in Malaysia this week, about 50 kilometers from central Singapore.
The 300,000 square meter park has over 20 water attractions, 70 Lego models and 3 million liters of water, said park officials.
There are only two other Legoland Water Parks in the world, one in California and one in Florida.
The water park is the latest addition to the Malaysia Legoland Resort, which already included a theme park which opened last year.
Aside from the water slides and pools, one of the attractions of the water park is Build-A-Raft River, which lets kids build their own raft made of Lego bricks and float through the park in a slow moving current.
Though the park, located in Iskandar, is geared toward kids between the ages of 2 and 12, it also has thrill rides for older kids.
