Philippine former first lady and legendary shoes, gowns and jewelry collector Imelda Marcos is in stable condition after being hospitalized for severe fatigue according to report.
Imelda Marcos, widow of the tenth Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos was rushed to hospital Sunday after feeling ill following a long road trip from her northern home town.
Marcos’s chief of staff told AFP that Doctors are monitoring her blood sugar levels, but other than that she is fine and will be out very soon
“There is nothing to worry about. She is in stable condition and was just asked by doctors to rest,”
She is often remembered for symbols of the extravagance of her husband’s political reign, including her collection of 3,000 pairs of shoes and 1,000 handbags.
Reportedly, those pairs of shoes owned by the former Philippine first lady have been damaged by storms and termites but they are under conservation rescue, museum curator Orlando Abinion told AP.
