“Everything happens for a reason” isn’t true in a “Godly” sense and is why many people don’t believe… and if it were true… they’d have every right not to. The fact is that “shit happens”… especially in nature… and in those times… sure… prayer wouldn’t hurt, but don’t blame God for natural disasters…
“Lol. Anyone of u r there at the typhoon? Talk so much. My 11mth old adorable son, my wife & I were there from 12pm to 6am beside the seaside in our 2 storey bamboo house. It is not like what the news reported. Hahaha, even claim 15,000 dead? Want bigger amount of donation money I guess. Anyway, praying does not help. Lol, praying!!! Oh rite, praying is free & can act noble. Lol.”
“Please HELP us surpass these horrific events. Now the News report says that the approximate count of casualties went up to 10,000(killed or missing) caused by the Super typhoon Yolanda or Haiyan. Towns in Leyte and Tacloban, Philippines was nearly wiped out. We are still trying to recover with the casualties caused by the 7.2 magnitude.”
“Most people died from drowning from storm surge where sea water lifted up to 3m meters with high velocity. Most houses are low level made of wooden materials and shanties. If the houses were mostly concrete at least 2 story building, many would have been spared. The president is also weak and very slow in response. It takes him a week to make it workable for relief effort. He could have declared state of emergency and exercised power to send military battalion units to secure the area and clean up the dead people and heavy equipments to clear the roads for delivery of goods.”
“May God bless the Filipinos! We are praying for you and may the souls of those who died rest in peace! God demonstrated his majesty and those who say that God does not exist, they can see how God is great now. Keep praying people, we are at the end of the world and typhoon is one of the sign of the end of the world! I thank my family for donating some clothes and shoes for the Philipinos. The Seventh Day Advestist Churches will donate more and may God bless everyone who is helping these people.”
Typhoon Haiyan, known in the Philippines as Typhoon Yolanda, was one of the strongest tropical cyclones ever recorded, devastating portions of Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines.
