Singapore — The body of a man, apparently of a Vietnamese who was reported missing Monday after having gone swimming off East Coast Park beach, was found on Tuesday morning.
A cousin of the 24-year-old Vietnamese saw the body floating near a breakwater and alerted the police, who recovered the body from the sea.
The recovery comes after a young boy’s body was found floating off Bedok Jetty late on Monday night, which was the third mishap in two days off the eastern coast of Singapore, reported The Straits Times.
The search continues for a 23-year-old Singaporean student, Goh Chuan Kiet, who disappeared on Sunday off Changi.
The undergraduate at SIM Global Education had gone paddle-boarding with students from his university’s windsurfing club.
