Singapore — Police arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly molesting a female commuter on a bus, with the help of two students.
The 23-year-old victim was travelling along West Coast Crescent on Sunday about 12:10am when the suspect sat beside her and molested her.
When she confronted him, he tried to get off the bus, but she alerted the bus captain about the incident.
At that point, two 17-year-old students intervened and stopped the suspect from leaving, said reports.
Police were notified and took custody of the suspect.
Police investigations into the incident are ongoing. The suspect could be jailed up to two years and caned if convicted.
