Facebook App mobile login, Taiwanese falls flat on Australia pier— Aussie police rescued a young woman from an icy water at about 20 meters from the pier, Victoria Australia.
A 20 something- Taiwanese accidentally fell into St. Kilda’s pier to Port Phillip Bay late on Monday night while browsing her Facebook account on her mobile device.
According to police report the Taiwanese woman had gone to the jetty to see penguins, she take her long walk while browsing his Facebook signed up account in her mobile and then fell into pier.
The woman told the police that she was so distracted by browsing her Facebook account that she walk straight off the pier and into icy water.
By passers who witnessed the scene called the police immediately.
Police Senior Constable Dean Kelly who rescued the woman said “She was still out in the water lying on her back in a floating position because she told us later that she couldn’t swim,”
“She still had her mobile phone in her hand and initially she apologized and said sorry.
“She said, ‘I was checking my Facebook page on the phone and I’ve fallen in”. Police officer said.
The woman has a backpack on that help her to float in.
she was brought to the hospital for treatment and luckily she was unharmed, according to report.
There will be no need for a lost property report as the woman kept hold of her mobile phone throughout the entire situation.
