Frank Lampard MLS, training starts — A 37-year old England’s midfielder star Lampard made it for the first time for his new Major League soccer teammates last Wednesday, the most awaited training with New York City FC ranked as successful.
This coming July 12 at Yankee Stadium, England Star is expected to make his debut for the Manchester City US club against Toronto.
His latest workout is to know his NYC teammates who achieved four wins, five drawn from 17 matches for third record in 20-team MLS.
Report says Frank Lampard’s MLS deal was done in the month of January but suddenly it was kept in Manchester City and was only brought out in New York in the mid season particularly in July.
“Obviously he has had a fantastic career so far, but he’s just another guy out there,” midfielder Tommy McNamara said of Lampard on the MLS website. “It’s great to see that, great to see he knows everyone’s name already and how he interacts like one of the guys.”
According to one of the defender,”It’s amazing. We’ve been waiting and waiting,Everyone has been really excited and today he is here. I’m sure a lot of the guys after training will be talking to him and getting as much out of him as they can”.
One of Lampard’s Fan said that,”I think there’s a lot to be learned just from watching him and playing with him, seeing what he does in certain situations, how he carries himself, how he takes care of himself off the field.”
England star Frank Lampard MLS made 32 appearances and 10 starts for Manchester City, scoring six goals in the last Premier League campaign.
