According to CNN report, The FDA agency posted a 15-page “notice of proposed rule making” on its website Tuesday, requesting “comments, data, research results or other information that may inform regulatory actions FDA might take” regarding warnings and packaging for liquid nicotine and other tobacco products.
The public has 60 days to weigh in via email or old-fashioned snail mail.
Electronic cigarettes, also known as e-cigarettes, are battery-operated products designed to deliver nicotine, flavor and other chemicals.
They turn chemicals, including highly addictive nicotine, into an aerosol that is inhaled by the user.
