Hong Kong skyline with 7,794 buildings and 133,531 points, has the world’s best skyline, followed by New York City, Singapore, Moscow, and Seoul.
The Emporis ranking also includes statistical data for each city on the list. New York came second place with data shows to have 6,091 buildings.
Dubai has been named as having the world’s sixth best skyline in a new global list released by real estate data management firm Emporis.
Hong Kong is a city, and former British colony, in southeastern China. It is densely populated having major port and global financial centers famed for its tower-studded skyline, having 45 buildings now taking part in the nightly Symphony of Lights – the world’s largest light and sound show.
Aside from Hong Kong Skyline, it is also known for its lively food scene from Cantonese dim sum to extravagant high tea, and its shopping, with options spanning chaotic Temple Street Night Market to the city’s innumerable bespoke tailors.
The list ranks cities by the visual impact of their skylines. It is drawn entirely from statistics in Emporis’ database, and reflects only completed high-rise buildings.
