Robbie Williams Angels singer, cancelled Asian tour– Robbie Williams scheduled second visit in Singapore this year, been cancelled.
The 32-year-old pop star Williams, English singer, songwriter and an actor in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire , called off shows.
Robbie Williams greatest hits including Swing and ‘Angels’. He was a member of the pop group Take That from 1990 to 1995 and again from 2009 to 2012.
He also had commercial success as a solo artist and won various awards with some of his more recognized accolades being the BRIT awards.
Last year, Williams’ 11th studio album Under the Radar Volume 1 was released featuring b-sides, demos and other previously unreleased songs.
Williams is recorded as one of the best-selling artists of all time, he has sold more than 77 million albums and singles worldwide.
The pop star sets shows on Nov. 4-26 at Shanghai, China; Hong Kong; Bangkok, Thailand; Singapore; and Mumbai and Bangalore, India for his Close Encounters tour.
Due to some issues outside his control, all his Asian concert have been cancelled .
According to his spokesman, Williams had been touring since May and was already “extremely tired”.
To perform in the “entirely new territories” of India and China, he said, “would have greatly added to his workload”.
Rumor has it, that its not his first time to pulled gigs. William did same thing in the year 2006.
In a statement ” ie: music, Robbie Williams and Midas Promotions Ltd. wish to apologize for the inconvenience and obvious disappointment that this will cause.”
Though some tour cancellation, his Australian leg is unaffected and will proceed as planned.
Organisers said there will be a full refund for tickets purchased for the event.
