Teenage girl with toilet phobia updates: Emily Titterington’s feared of using the toilet for eight weeks led to a serious constipation which finally cause heart attack.
Report says, the she could have been saved by the help of some treatment, however, teen girl refuse to have medical examination.
Teenage girl suffered her bowel problem for a quite sometime and she also had a mild autism.
At first she was looking pale and been complaining of her pain between her shoulder blades but then she refuse to go to the hospital for an examination.
Titterington’s bowel grew so big as it compressed her chest cavity which cause the displacement her other organs
Through a post-mortem examination ‘Teenage girl with toilet phobia, Titterington had a so called “massive extension of the large bowel” which caused her death.

According to Dr Amanda Jeffery, a pathologist, her symptoms were in-keeping with a condition known as “stool withholding”, which is more frequent in children.
According to her GP Dr Alistair James, in the period leading up to Emily’s death, her mum Geraldine had battled in vain to persuade the teenager to be medically examined.
“Her death could have been avoided with the right treatment at the right point.” her doctor said, who also prescribed laxatives but never examine Titterington’s abdomen.
