TYPHOON PHILIPPINES 2015 latest updates: Typhoon Falcon, after Egay- Another typhoon enters the Philippine area of responsibility, enhances monsoon rain.
After Philippines experienced heavy rains several days ago due to Tropical Storm Egay, left the Philippine Area of Responsibility, Tuesday, another typhoon is expected to enter and it will be named “Falcon.”
Typhoon Falcon, International name Chan-Hom is forecast to move about west-northwest at 20 kph.
Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration or PAGASA spotted that Falcon was packing winds of 120 kilometers/hour and gusts of up to 150 km/h when.
It enhances the southwest monsoon, Mindoro, Palawan, Zambales, and Bataan, thus, we are expecting rain on the next day which may cause landslides and floods to affected areas.
According to PAGASA, as of 4 p.m. typhoon ”Chan-hom” international name was spotted 1,495 kilometers east of Luzon, 1,330 east-northeast of Aparri, Cagayan at 4 am
“While the rains will not be as heavy as those dumped by Egay over the weekend, the land is already saturated, so more rains may cause flash floods and landslides”, said Sam Duran , meteorologist.
However, Philippines still experiencing heavy rains due to Tropical Egay, internationally known as Linfa, though already out the territory which enhanced the southwest monsoon in Northern Philippines including, Metro Manila, Bataan, Rizal, Cavite, and Batangas.
The agency PAGASA warns, that typhoon enhances monsoon rains which may trigger flash floods and landslides in the Provinces of Bataan and Zambales, it will also cause heavy rainfall in Ilocos, Cordillera and in the region of Mimaropa.
Typhoon Philippines 2015 Updates: Currently Metro Manila and the rest of Central Luzon is experiencing occasional rains, isolated thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country.
