Philippines is confident over South China Sea disputes-China has been busy transforming underwater reefs hundreds of miles from its coastline into artificial islands, building new installations on the islands, including possibly airstrips, barracks, and radar sites.
The Philippine government is confident to win a tribunal court favor and in good place over this matter, Philippine government official said.
“We prepared a strong case. We believe we stand on strong legal ground,” presidential spokeswoman Abigail Valte told government radio.
Despite the ongoing tribunal case of the disputed islands, China construction activity is also up and going, according to new surveillance photos released by the Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative.
China against most of its maritime neighbors brought it into conflict with Philippines, the United States and Japan.
Yahoo News report digging comments and opinions over South China sea, “The UN has to be properly aligned to reflect the momentous changes which have taken place since its inception. The days of hounding African leaders for so-called crimes against humanity while ignoring the crimes of the Bushes and the Blairs are coming to an end.
“The days of listening to the tune of the American Patrol should give way to the more refined and elevated, Yellow River Concerto. Otherwise the UN had better be prepared for a new world body, this one on the Pudong side of Shanghai. Yah.”
“What difference does it make, if a win is not going to settle claims, as not all states agreed to UN arbitration? Pee-NOY is clearly out of line to go it alone, despite ASEAN being a platform for negotiations with China. Has Pee-NOY being kicked out of ASEAN already?”
