Tropical cyclone update over Philippines, weather monitoring bureau PAGASA issued advisory No. 1.
The tropical cyclone update over Pacific and to enter Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday and will be named “Helen.”, PAGASA said.
The cyclone was packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and was forecast to move west at 35 kph.
Part of the country will experience moderate to strong winds. It will continue over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will also experience moderate to rough.
“This weather system is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday, September 24, 2016 and it will be named “HELEN”.”
“The next update of this weather system will be incorporated in the 5:00 PM and 5:00 AM public weather forecast and the next tropical cyclone advisory will be issued at 11:00 AM tomorrow.”, PAGASA weather bureau said.
PAGASA the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather bulletin forecast said, the southwest monsoon (habagat) is also affecting the province of Palawan.
