Singapore — KISS92 FM has become Singapore’s top English radio station, replacing MediaCorp stations Class 95FM and Gold90.5FM, according to results from the latest Nielsen Radio Diary Survey released on Thursday.
The results are based on audience share and time spent listening.
Run by SPH UnionWorks, KISS92 also recorded an increase in cumulative listenership from 419,000 to 485,000.
The station, which began in September 2012, is the first radio station in Singapore to primarily target women between the ages of 30 and 50.
It plays mostly pop music, and also features experts who comment on topics ranging from relationships and family matters to health and fashion, reported The Straits Times.
