United Airlines memes disappeared from their profiles and from people’s timelines.
Twitter users claiming that post memes # about Flight 3411 viral video incident are being removed.
The claims come after United Airlines had a man forcibly removed from a plane, causing him to be carried down the aisle and leave with his face bleeding. The incident has been criticized by customers and much of the world, especially on social media flooding tweet memes on #NewUnitedAirlinesMottos that went viral. Tweets suggesting new slogan for the airline company, following the incidents, United’s share price has fallen according to report.
Twitter accused of deleting United Airlines memes slamming United Airlines, accusation came after passenger David Dao controversial incident where he was forcibly removed from his flight. United CEO Oscar Munoz expressed an airline’s apology over the incident, saying in an interview with “Good Morning America” that he felt “shame” when watching viral videos of Dao being dragged down the plane’s aisle.
“This will never happen again on a United Airlines flight,” Munoz said on TV, apologizing to Dao, his family, passengers on that flight and United’s customers and employees.

More user Tweets accused Twitter claiming that their posts about an incident on the airline are being removed without notice and without them being aware of it.

According to one of the comments regarding of the incident, one tweet say, “Twitter is the best example of the suppression of free speech that we see on a daily basis. I am not suggesting that twitter is in any way subject to the first amendment, it is not, being a private company it has free reign over its content.
But the bigger problem is that its users are largely ok, with twitters censorship and suppression of free speech. twitter have been blocking/ deleting post and locking account of people who express the conservative view point for some time now. Twitter has become a platform for the extreme left and it removing any competing content.”
