Korean couple broke up after more than a year of relationship, busy schedule as main reason.
The 23 year-old EXO member Baekhyun and 26 year-old Girls’ Generation member Taeyeon relationship was confirmed to have ended. In February 2014, Tae-yeon began dating fellow S.M. artist Baekhyun of EXO and revealed to be a couple in June 2014. Both artist were having busy schedules, said as main reason for their break up.
A source close to K-Pop lover, revealed that they officially split, 15 September 2015, Tuesday. Though couple decided to end their relationship, for more than a year being together,they still remain friends. Numerous fans and supporters of K-Pop lover reacted upon hearing said issue. Others reacted immediately, saying their relationship is something they knew would come to end while others said they already knew couple broke up before issues reported on media.
Taeyeon is a South Korean singer and actress and a member of South Korean girl group, recorded singles for various television dramas and movies. July 2007 she debuted as a member Girls’ Generation. Taeyeon became a DJ on MBC Radio’s program Kangin Taeyeon’s Chin Chin Radio in April 2008 together with fellow SM artist Super Junior’s Kangin, later she gained the nickname “DJ Taengoo”. Currently, Taeyeon is promoting with Girls’ Generation “Lion Heart,” their fifth studio album as well as preparing to debut as a solo act.
While ex-boyfriend Baekhyun who is a member of South Korean-Chinese boy band produced by S.M. Entertainment will join EXO next month, becoming the first artist to perform at the dome in Korea. He is one of the main vocalists of EXO who joined S.M. Entertainment in 2011 through the S.M. Casting System. He was featured in the music video of Twinkle by Girls’ Generation-TTS together with fellow members Park Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun in 2012 and starred in a Korean adaptation of the musical “Singin’ in the Rain” in July 2014.
