UPDATED: Chris Brown stuck in the Philippines over fraud: A 26-year-old, american award-winning pop singer was allegedly stopped from leaving the country on Wednesday.

A complaint filed by Iglesia ni Cristo ,a religious group, against the rapper and his manager for  $1 million payment for a show that never happened, previously reported R&B singer Chris Brown stuck in Philippines.

The singer failed to appear in a concert last New Year’s Eve at a venue owned by the church. According to reports. The complaint said that Brown and his Canadian promoter, John Michael Pio Roda, took $1 million payment for a show that never happened.

“According to them, Chris Brown lost his passport the day before the scheduled event,” the show’s organizers said at the time.

The Philippine Department of Justice issued an order to stop Chris Brown from leaving the country. Chris was stopped from leaving on Wednesday, a day after his concert in Manila, just hours before he was supposed to arrive in Hong Kong to perform at another Asian Tour concert, according to reports.

“Please, please, let us leave, please,” Brown said in a video he uploaded on Instagram mockingly begging for them to leave the country, reports said.

Chris Brown’s Asian tour concert have been affected because of his problem in the Philippines. He is scheduled to have a concert in Hongkong on Wednesday and then delayed to Thursday, which never happened until now, according to a concert promoter in Hong Kong.

A scheduled performance in Jakarta, Indonesia for July 25 has already been canceled due to unrelated security concerns, reports said.

“#TeamBreezyJakarta due to safety concerns my show on July 25th will be rescheduled! Let’s keep spreading love around the world! #Pray4Peace,” Chris Brown posted on his Twitter account, 8:04 AM, 22 July 2015.

Elaine Tan, Immigration Bureau spokeswoman said in a text message to the AP that Brown was still in the Philippines Thursday evening. Chris Brown stuck in the Philippines and remain until the situation is resolved. IMAGE of MTV
