American fashion designer re-releases his 10 best-selling pieces, as celebrating milestone in business.
Alexander Wang, 31 year-old fashion designer celebrates his 10th anniversary in fashion industry. He is the former creative director of Balenciaga, a European fashion house. For 10 years in designing, Wang has been very successful and famous, marked with his creations.
Way back 2005, Alexander Wang decided to pursue the launch of his own fashion label and began with a knitwear collection. He is known for his urban designs, using black as the main color in Fall 2008 collection and using bright colors such as orange, dusty purple, aqua and hot pink in Spring 2009 collection.
As he celebrates his first decade in fashion industry, Wang re-releases 10 of his best seller designs. Including a 2009 collection coming from the brightly colored. Alexander Wang stated, “So, we ultimately decided to use the occasion of the anniversary to crowd-source this ten-year capsule collection; calling out to our fans to bring back what they loved most.” ,“It has gone by so fast and I’ve experienced and learned so much that I would have never imagined”.
He was announced to be next designer to create collection of H&M, a Swedish based fashion retailer in 13 April 2014 and been included in the Times 100 Most Influential People of 2015 just this year. He then reverted to using mainly black fabrics, often praised for exhibiting outstanding tailoring skills. He also won 2008 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)/Vogue Fashion Fund Award.

With his proven talent and his irreverent, modern vision of design, Alexander Wang has brought a new impetus to the brand.”
Wang been very successful in his fashion carrier, with lines stocked globally in more than 700 stores including luxury department stores like Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Dover Street Market, Browns and Net-a-Porter. IMAGE/GETTY
