Spain Bull Run 2015 1 Australian wounded, 2 injured in a bull-run- As the country celebrates summer and its week-long of San Fermín Festival.

Several wounded in San Fermín Festival some participants were brought to the hospital. The country is celebrating San Fermín Festival, a traditional festival held at Pamplona, Spain, usually takes place from July 6 to 14 every year.

The said festival is known for people who used to run with bulls all around the city. The bulls are considered as important part of the summer festival,  though they know that its too risky.

During the event, two Americans and a Briton gored. Some bull runners were also  injured in the first run, Tuesday.

Mike Webster, 38-years-old, American, occupational therapist from Gainesville, Florida was still hospitalized. He was gored in the armpit as he joined the festival for the 38th time in 11 years.

According to him, he hadn’t decided whether he’d run again.

Another victim was a 25-year-old from Tempe, Arizona identified only by his initials RHO, who suffered facial bruising.

According to the San Fermin press office, before the victim was taken to the city hospital they were treated by doctors as they suffered from  gored in the leg and back.

In the said festival, most of the participants are willing to risk their lives to capture the highlight of the event.

In the year 2009, 27-year-old Daniel Jimeno died at same event. He was gored in the neck by a bull, recorded as recent death.

The festival runs for about nine-days  in Pamplona,  features 24-hour street partying. Revellers usually wears red and white. Once the bulls make it to the bullring, they are chased and teased.

This has been condemned by activists as barbaric. In record, 15 people already died from joining the feast since 1924. Image/ AP
