Filipina actress and singer got the final slot for nominees in the Best Southeast Asian Act category in the upcoming 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards.
The 21 year-old actress, television host and singer Nadine Lustre was voted wildcard nominee with her first international recognition. She got the slot in the Best Southeast Asian Act category in the upcoming 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards, competing her on-screen partner James Reid, who also had his first international recognition.
Tuesday, the announcement made, young actress able to beat other wildcard contenders from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. The upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards will be held in Milan, Italy on October 25 with other nominees including Slot Machine in Thailand, Faizal Tahir in Malaysia, Son Tung M-TP in Vietnam, NOAH in Indonesia and The Sam Willows in Singapore. Last year, the Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo was crowned the MTV EMAs Best Southeast Asia Act.
The 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards will broadcast LIVE across the globe from the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, the city of Expo 2015. This will be one of the biggest global music events of the year, which celebrates the hottest artists from around the world. MTV Europe Music Awards will surely brings music fans a unique and multi-platform experience across MTV’s global network. As Filipino pride, Nadine will surely give her best shot.
Nadine Lustre appeared in numerous movies which made her famous, and it wont be so “Kilig” without her love team James Reid. She is best known for her role in the film adaptation of Diary ng Panget, released on 2 April 2014 which became a box-office hit earning million pesos during its 4-week run. Later, she starred in another film adaptation entitled Talk Back and You’re Dead with Reid and actor Joseph Marco released on 20 august 2014 in theaters nationwide.
As the love team caught the heart of many Filipinos, again starred in Para sa Hopeless Romantic, released on 13 May 2015. Currently, Nadine Lustre and James Reid stars on the ABS-CBN Primetime Bida series On The Wings Of Love. Aside from acting, Lustre engaged in singing career. She was once a member of an all-female group called Pop Girls,however left the group and started as solo singer. She had hit singles such as No Erase, Paligoy-ligoy, Bahala Na, Para-paraan, and Hanap-hanap.
