Valisno Express bus company was issued by Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board a 30-day preventive suspension after bus accident.
- Wednesday morning, the bus accident killed four persons and left at least 30 persons injured.
- Past 7 am, the bus with plate number TXV 715, was traveling towards San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan.
- The bus slammed into an arch on the boundary of Quezon City and Caloocan City.
LTFRB Chairman Winston Ginez ordered the suspension of all 62 buses of Valisno Express which means their plates will be confiscated, he also ordered the buses to undergo road worthiness inspection. “All drivers of Valisno will be required to (a) undergo road safety seminar; (b) drug test; (c) secure police and NBI clearance,” order said.
The right side of the passenger bus had the strongest impact which leads to death and injury of passengers, including bus conductor Ferdinand Dacusan, have been rushed to the Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital in Tala, Caloocan for treatment. Two are reportedly in critical condition. The bus driver, identified as George Pacis, fled the scene after bus accident.
According to report, two passengers, a male and a female, who were retrieved from under the bus accident killed on the spot. The two other casualties were declared dead at the Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital in Tala, Caloocan, Dr. Amalia Villar, a resident doctor of the hospital, said.
Insp. Marlon Meman, commander of the Quezon City Police District Traffic Sector 2 said, the man was already identified, but the woman was difficult to identify due to the serious damage on her face. But she is speculated to be between 30 to 40 years old.IMAGE/twitter
