After a long wait of seeing real couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on the big screen, they are back on their new movie ‘By the Sea’.
The film ‘By the Sea’ marks the couple’s come back movie after their first collaboration in famous 2005 flick Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are going on big screen after a highly anticipated teaser for their new film, 6 August 2015.
This upcoming American drama film is directed and written by Angelina Jolie Pitt herself. The film stars Jolie and real life husband Brad Pitt which is scheduled to released on November 13, 2015 under Universal Pictures. ‘By the Sea’, her third directorial effort, is a romantic drama about a marriage in crisis, based on her screenplay
In her statement, “I’d be directing myself and him in a scene where we’re having a fight, and I’d be pulling out the parts [of him] that have an aggression toward me or when you’re frustrated with each other — it was very heavy,” Jolie said.
After 10 years of being on big screen, real-life couple portray the role as Vanessa and Roland. They are playing an estranged husband and wife traveling through France in the 1970s. The film was shot last year while they are having their honeymoon.
In May 2014, announced Angelina Jolie set to co-star Brad Pitt in a new film By the Sea. A film written and directed by Jolie herself. On September 15, 2014, stills from the from the movie were released and the film was announced for a November 13, 2015 release. The film talks about a struggling marriage between a former dancer Vanessa played by Jolie, and her writer husband, Roland played by Pitt.
Angelina Jolie said, “I think people watch how you present yourself,” Jolie said of working on By the Sea. “If you come in and you’re there to roll up your sleeves and work hard, you’ve got a lot of ideas and you’re there to help solve problems, then you become that person to them.”
